(Neets here....) Thought I was going to experience the glacier sedately from the viewing walkway...huh - no chance....Frau Hitler had me strapped in the crampons and marching up the ice. The guide's safety brief went: "Keep legs apart, stamp down evenly with whole foot and bend the knees". We were creased with laughter at the ungainly march needed to get proper purchase and remain upright on the ice.
